Midithing is a music creation app that runs entirely on your device. Your privacy is simple: we don't collect your data.

Midithing does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data. Specifically:

No cookies or advertising identifiers
No crash reporting or diagnostics transmitted

Device Permissions

Midithing may request the following device permissions, which are used solely for local functionality:

Microphone access (optional): Used only by the Sampler component to record audio locally on your device. Audio recordings never leave your device.
Audio output: Used to play synthesized audio through your device speakers or headphones.

Local Storage

Any data created within Midithing (patches, recordings, sequences) is stored locally on your device. This data is not backed up to any external service by Midithing itself.

Third-Party Services

Midithing does not integrate with any third-party services, SDKs, or APIs. There are no ads, no in-app purchases, and no external network requests.

Children's Privacy

Midithing is suitable for users of all ages. Since we do not collect any personal information, there are no special concerns regarding children's data under COPPA or similar regulations.

Midithing is open source software. You can review the complete source code to verify these privacy claims.

Changes to This Policy

If we ever change how data is handled, this policy will be updated with a new date. Since Midithing operates entirely offline, meaningful changes are unlikely.
